Foggy Trees
British Columbia, Canada, 2016
As fog travels through the forest canopy of the Great Bear Rainforest, enveloping the stands of cedars and Douglas firs in a blanket of moisture, I am reminded that where the last road ends and the buzz of civilization dies down, that is where the solitude of nature begins. To reach that place we must journey, not only down the path that leads us away from all that is busy and worrisome, but also through the wilds of the human spirit.
